I've always lived my life as if it were an adventure. As if I were a part of all these magnificent stories that I've read and heard and seen.
At one point, I had taken a skirt from my grandmother. It was long and flowy and red.
And simple. So very simple.
But, on eight-year-old me, it was a magnificent gown of royal virtue. A gown from a fairy tale. A gown a princess might run away in.
I would often run barefoot through the woods behind my childhood backyard, with the skirt nipping at every twig it passed over and collecting dirty leaves in the hem. I was a princess - one destined for more than what the cold, stoic walls of the castle would offer. And running away like this was what a princess like that would have done.
So I did.
When I look back on my life, I notice the memories that stuck with me and can see the reasons why they did (no matter how simple or unimportant they might have seemed). My memories always show me living, imagining, and creating a beautiful life for myself.
Why should photographing your family feel any different?
Life's about exploring, discovering, and remembering the simplest, yet unknowingly monumental moments with those you love.
So let's do just that.

I always knew life was fleeting.
Even at a young age, I made very sure that the moments surrounding me must be ones that made me feel.
They must. Because one day, this would all be gone.
I wanted fairy tales to be real. So badly, that I longed to bring them to life.
So I do.
WE do, Adam and I. Together.
Through images that dance. That make you feel. That waltz and tango and bloom. That are poetic and alive.
That show the royals from the storybooks in real time.
The kind that might escape the castle and change the world. The kind with dirty feet and muddied hems. The kind with their hair whipping wildly in the wind. The kind that might look up to the stars at night and stick their toes into the dark, moon-lit sea. The kind that worry not about perfection on the surface, but of how perfect life can be underneath the chaos.
The kind who want their images to dance, too.
So, if that's you, we're ready to meet you. And we just can't wait a second longer.
